About The decision layer for end-of-life inventory

We didn't start with software.
We started inside the problem.

FINDS was built by people who spent years clearing excess inventory for premium brands by hand — long enough to learn that the hard part was never the execution. It was the decision.

Where we come from

Years inside end-of-life inventory — before we wrote a line of code.

FINDS exists because its founders did this work the hard way first: clearing surplus for premium fashion, luxury and beauty brands across Europe — brand by brand, season by season, channel by channel.

That work taught us what most software misses. By the time a product reaches end of life, value isn't lost in how you execute. It's lost earlier — in deciding what to do with each unit, and when. So we built the layer we always wished we'd had.

We've seen the fragmentation firsthandSpreadsheets, ERP, WMS/OMS, PLM, email threads — the signals needed to decide were never in one place.
We know what the trade-offs actually costValue, margin and sell-through pull against each other on every unit. We've made those calls under real deadlines.
We understand every route, not just oneClearance, outlet, off-price, donation, recycling — the right answer depends on the unit, never on a default.
What we believe

Three convictions, learned the hard way.

Decide first, execute after

The route a unit takes — clearance, outlet, off-price, donation, recycling — should be a deliberate, data-backed decision, not a default. Execution is the easy part once the decision is right.

Value is lost before execution

Most margin on end-of-life stock erodes in the gap between “we have surplus” and “we acted on it.” Closing that gap with a clear decision is where the recovery lives.

Traceability is the new baseline

Premium brands can no longer treat an inventory decision as private. Every choice needs a defensible record — for finance, for the brand, and for regulation. We log the reasoning, not just the outcome.

What we're building

Not another place to list surplus. The layer that decides what happens to it.

FINDS sits above execution. It ingests the fragmented signals brands already have and turns them into a single, scored view of every end-of-life unit.

From there, teams simulate routes, weigh value against margin and sell-through, and commit to a decision — with the reasoning captured automatically. One platform, one defensible decision, one audit-ready record.
